Mass Coordinator

Who are we? The mass coordinator greets you upon your arrival at St. James Parish. They are usually found at the hospitality desk in the Narthex.

What we do The mass coordinator confirms that all liturgical ministry and other serving positions are filled at weekend Masses. They ensure that an adequate number of altar servers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and ushers are present at any given Mass and invite substitutes as needed. They welcome scheduled ministers as they arrive, ensuring they are signed in, and invite all ministers to meet in the vestry before Mass begins.
