For your first child, if he/she is seven years old or younger you are required to attend a baptismal preparation session.  The classes are Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at St. James Church. The cost for the preparation session is $20.

If your child is older than 7, please see our RCIC or RCIT programs.

You are encouraged to take classes prior to your child being born.

A Baptism Registration Form must be handed into the parish office before the start of the session. Please see above for link to form.

> Child’s birth certificate
> Mother’s and/or Father’s Baptismal certificate
> Godparent(s)’ annotated Baptismal certificate (includes Confirmation information)

Baptisms are held on the second and fourth Saturdays (5:30pm mass) and Sundays (11:00am mass) of every month at St. James, Okotoks and during the 9am Mass at St. Michael’s, Black Diamond.
